Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Ambulatory Oncology Infusion position requiring 2 years of infusion experience and an active VA or compact RN license. A BLS certificate is required and Epic EMR access is necessary.

The role is in ambulatory oncology infusion with a 1:8 patient ratio, four 9-hour shifts (8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) and a 36-hour weekly guarantee. No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements, with possible floating.

Qualifications

• Active RN license VA or Compact required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years infusion experience required.
• Ambulatory oncology experience required.
• Chemotherapy competency test must be passed (not required to have certification).
• Epic EMR access required.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies to ambulatory oncology patients.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:8.
• Work in Epic EMR system.
• Provide infusion care in ambulatory oncology setting.
• Possibly floating to other units as needed.
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate; local candidates may be paid at a lower rate.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory oncology infusion setting
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• EMR: Epic
• 4x9hr shifts, 8am-5:30pm
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No holiday requirements
• Possible floating required
• Administer infusion therapies to ambulatory oncology patients
• Blue scrubs required
• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 12-week assignment or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment without penalty
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last worked shift
