American Traveler, LLC is hiring an Oncology Infusion RN for a day shift in Illinois. Candidates must hold an active IL RN license and have at least 2 years of oncology infusion experience, with ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required for infusion room placement.

This role involves working in the Cancer Treatment Center Infusion unit with shifts such as 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5, or 7-3:30, no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required for placement in the infusion room.
• Outpatient oncology infusion experience preferred for infusion room placement.

Responsibilities

• Works in the Cancer Treatment Center Infusion unit.
• Shift options include 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5, or 7-3:30.
• No weekend or call requirements.
• Role may include chemotherapy infusion administration or lab duties depending on experience and credentials.
• Administers blood products, anti-neoplastics, and supportive therapies via IV in the infusion room.
• May draw labs from subcutaneous portacaths, remove home infusion pumps, and perform central line dressing changes if assigned to lab duties.
• Role assignment depends on candidate's credentials and competency level.
