Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Oncology Infusion RN in California. Must hold an active CA RN license, BLS, and ONS/ONCC chemo-immunotherapy certification. 3–5 years of oncology/critical care experience and expert IV skills are required.

The role involves caring for high-acuity cancer patients in an infusion unit on a 4×10-hour schedule (Mon–Fri, one weekday off) with EPIC EMR and PTE infusion safety equipment. No on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• ONS/ONCC Chemo Immunotherapy Administration Certification required.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience assessing critically ill patients in high acuity oncology/critical care settings.
• Expert IV therapy skills required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from NLN/CCNE or equivalent required.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a Cancer Center's Oncology Infusion unit.
• Trauma Level 3 facility.
• Caseload of 5–7 patients per day.
• Schedule is 4×10-hour shifts, Mon–Fri with one weekday off.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Equipment includes PTE for medication safety and infusion pumps.
• No on-call requirements.
• Administer anti-neoplastic medications safely and competently.
• Performs central line management.
• Responds to medication reactions.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members.
• Position may extend coverage due to FMLA leave.
