American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an Infusion Center position within an academic teaching hospital in California.

The role requires CA RN licensure, a BSN, Chemo/Immunotherapy certification, and oncology infusion experience, with at least 2 years in adult oncology nursing and 1 year outpatient infusion experience. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy/biotherapy, managing ports and IV therapy, and providing direct patient care in both outpatient

Competenze

• Active CA RN license required.
• BSN required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Chemo/Immunotherapy ONS/ONCC certification required.
• Minimum 2 years recent adult clinical Oncology Nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year recent outpatient Infusion experience administering chemotherapy/biotherapy within the last 3 years.
• Experience administering infusions, pain management, transfusion therapy, and hydration required.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration.

Mansioni

• Day shift, 5x8 hours, variable starts between 7-9am.
• 1-2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.
• Epic charting system used.
• Floating to other facility units or locations required when qualified.
• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, coagulation factors, antifungals, antivirals, and IV therapy.
• Manage ports, PICC lines, infusion pumps, and start/maintain IVs.
• Provide direct patient care including chemotherapy administration, transfusion therapy, and IV hydration in an oncology setting.
• Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy required.
• Candidates with any prior employment at University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must disclose full employment history including dates, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review.
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional requests accepted mid-contract and RTO is not allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates.
• Floating may include reassignment to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75+ mile radius
• Travel pairs allowed but generally not placed on the same unit; married couples may not work on the same unit.
