American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Outpatient Oncology RN in Beverly Hills, CA, requiring a CA RN license, BSN, BLS, ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification, and 2–3 years of outpatient oncology experience. The role includes day shifts (4x10 hours) with no weekends or on-call, and potential float to sister facilities.

• Active CA RN license

• Current BLS certification
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification
• 2–3 years outpatient oncology experience
• Prior travel assignment experience
• Proficient in IV therapy/infusions, port access and management
• Chemotherapy administration and monitoring experience
• Familiar with oncologic emergencies and complications
• Experience with managing chemo-related symptoms
• Knowledge of antiemetic, antitumor, corticosteroid, hormonal, and Neupogen meds
• Experience with cancer diagnoses including breast, lung, colorectal, leukemia/lymphoma

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient infusion/oncology setting
• Work day shift 4x10 hours 7:30 AM–5:30 PM with 30 min lunch
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float to sister facilities as needed
• Use Epic charting system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Coordinate care and provide education and psychosocial support
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy
• Manage oncologic emergencies and treatment-related symptoms
• Local candidates accepted at same bill rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required

• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
• 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Skilled in IV therapy/infusions, port access and management, central line and PICC line care
• Experience with chemotherapy administration (continuous infusion, IV push) and monitoring
• Knowledge of oncologic emergencies including ATLS, anaphylaxis, extravasation, hemorrhage, sepsis, and spinal cord compression
• Experience managing chemotherapy-related symptoms such as nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, and altered mental status
• Familiarity with antiemetic, antitumor, corticosteroid, hormonal, and Neupogen medication administration
• Experience caring for patients with various cancer diagnoses including breast, lung, colorectal, leukemia/lymphoma, and others
• Skilled in isolation precautions, neutropenic precautions, and phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• No on-call requirements
• May float to sister facilities based on facility needs
