American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg Float RN for a night shift float pool in Missouri. Requires 2+ years MS/Tele experience and MO or compact RN licensure; BLS & ACLS required, IV start, telemetry expertise, and EPIC experience preferred. Navy blue scrubs; no local candidates within 75 miles.

Night schedule is 3x12s (18:45–07:15) with float across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro and cardiology units. Travel-friendly, early contract guarantees and on-site parking offered.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float RN requiring 2+ years of MS/Tele experience and MO or compact RN licensure for a night shift float pool role.

Requirements

Active MO or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
Minimum of 2 years MS/Tele experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
IV start and telemetry skills required
NIHSS certification preferred
Prior EPIC experience strongly preferred
Skills in IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, and phlebotomy
Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry remote monitoring
Experience with respiratory care including HFNC, ABG interpretation, nasal cannula, and oxygen administration
Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE
Experience with PCA medications, surgical drains, and total joint replacement care preferred
Must be able to use lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner (training provided)

Responsibilities

No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
No more than 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week
Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to this health system as a traveler
Standard travelers must reside outside a 75-mile radius and may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service
Guaranteed minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract
