American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Cardiology unit in Illinois. Requires active IL RN license, BLS, and at least three years of nursing experience. EPIC charting and Level 1 Trauma experience are required.

Position includes 12-hour day shifts, weekends/holidays on a rotating basis, and potential float to Carle Health hospitals. Open to candidates residing >50 miles from the facility; RTO up to 7 days per 13 weeks.

Formación

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

Responsabilidades

• Works in a Cardiac Med/Surg unit (5C Cardiac).
• 12-hour day shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week for 36 hours.
• Weekend and holiday shifts required on a rotating basis.
• May float to other Carle Health system hospitals as needed.
• Responsible for a designated group of patients, using the nursing process to deliver care.
• Completes patient assessments, develops care plans, and adjusts care as needed.
• Promotes patient and employee safety by addressing hazards.
• Supports peers' professional development through feedback and collaboration.
• RTO may not exceed 7 days within a 13-week contract.
• Contingent workers may not remain longer than one year without conversion or a 6-month break

• EPIC charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

Responsibilities

• Works in a Cardiac Med/Surg unit (5C Cardiac)
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week for a total of 36 hours
• Weekend and holiday shifts required on a rotating basis
• May float to other Carle Health system hospitals as needed
• Responsible for a designated group of patients, utilizing the nursing process, current trends, and technology to deliver care
• Completes patient assessments, develops individualized plans of care, and modifies care based on ongoing evaluation
• Promotes patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards or incidents
• Supports professional development of peers through constructive feedback and collaboration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• RTO may not exceed 7 total days within a 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on assignment longer than one year without either converting to permanent staff or taking a 6-month break before returning to any Carle Health location
