American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Invasive/Cath Lab position in Illinois. Active IL RN license and cath lab experience are required; expect day shifts, 40 hours weekly, and call coverage for weekends/holidays. Must meet trauma and ACLS/BLS requirements with Epic charting experience.

Travel assignment includes potential stays at multiple facilities with housing allowances and travel reimbursements. RTO limits apply; open positions: 1.

Formación

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum of three years of applicable nursing experience.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and independent judgment skills.
• Basic computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browsers.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsabilidades

• Care for cardiovascular invasive/cath lab patients in a hospital setting.
• Work day shift 6:30am-5pm, 4 days per week; 40 hours weekly; call coverage on weekends/holidays.
• May float to other Carle Health facilities; utilize Epic EMR for charting.
• Provide direct patient care using nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Perform bedside lab testing and quality control per policy.
• Demonstrate cath lab equipment proficiency and troubleshoot as needed.
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract; contingent workers limits.
• Travel position with housing/relocation considerations.

• May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital


• Uses Epic EMR for charting


• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular invasive/cath lab setting, applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation


• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and modify individualized patient care plans


• Perform bedside lab testing and associated quality control per hospital policy


• Demonstrate technical proficiency with cath lab equipment and troubleshoot as needed


• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this travel position


• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract


• Contingent workers may not work continuously at Carle Health for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning
