American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telephone Triage position in a cardiology clinic in California. The role requires CA RN license, cardiac and ambulatory triage experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

You will triage patient calls, support physicians, and perform in-office procedures with a schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Strong critical thinking, communication, and care coordination skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Active California RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, including prior cardiac and cardiology department experience.
• Ambulatory triage or medical office experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and care coordination skills required.

Aufgaben

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting providing clinical support to physicians.
• Triage emergent and non-emergent patient phone calls and messages.
• Performs in-office procedures as well as clinical administrative tasks.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
• No floating or charge responsibilities not required.
• Provides clinical support to physicians and healthcare providers to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient satisfaction.

• Supports a highly trained clinical team focused on optimal patient care.
