Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiology/Structural Heart care coordination role. An active MA RN license and Level 1 trauma experience are required. The position focuses on administrative coordination of care, including referrals and follow-ups, rather than direct patient care.

The 8-hour daytime shift runs 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Vaccinations (COVID with booster and flu) are required unless exempt.

Qualifications

• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• Triage experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Strong computer skills required, including Excel experience.
• Structural heart or cardiac experience preferred but not required.
• Care coordinator experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Structural Heart unit within a hospital setting.
• Care coordination role focused primarily on administrative duties rather than direct patient care.
• Responsibilities include coordinating referrals and follow-ups for patients on the unit.
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
• No floating or charge responsibilities required.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.
• Role involves less patient-facing work and more administrative coordination of care.
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed.
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) with this health system must have a 6-month break before returning.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
