Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Ortho unit in Colorado. Active CO or compact RN license and BLS are required. ACLS preferred. Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg acute care experience, no 90+ day gaps in work history, and US SSN/DOB are needed for consideration.

The assignment features a 13-week travel stint with day shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on a 26-bed unit, using Meditech EMR. Housing allowances and travel reimbursements are provided to qualified travelers.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience required.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine Medical Acute Care unit.
• Patient ratio of 6:1.
• Care for medical patients, including post-op radial cardiac cath and drip management such as heparin.
• Uses Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines.
• Charts using Meditech EMR.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 13-week assignment.

• Patient care experience and a strong team-oriented attitude are highly valued.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
