American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 36-bed telemetry unit in New Hampshire. The role requires 2 years of hospital experience and IV certification, with night shifts and a 13-week assignment.

You must hold an active NH or Compact RN license, BLS, IV cert, and meet residency constraints; a 50-mile radius restriction applies and local candidates are not considered. Meditech Expanse is used for documentation.

Qualifications

Active RN license (NH or Compact) required at time of submission.
BLS certification required.
IV certification required.
Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based Med/Surg experience required.
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
One professional reference required.
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsabilités

36-bed Medical/Surgical unit (3rd Medical) with telemetry equipment.
Patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 during surge.
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment.
Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
Unit secretary support available on day shift only; LNAs available on both shifts.
Documentation performed in Meditech Expanse.
Floating required to units of the same level of care.
Self-scheduling available, though leadership may balance schedules as needed.
Perform continuous bladder irrigation, wound care, and drain management including chest tubes and Jackson‑Pratt drains.
Perform foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed.
Participate in bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connection initiatives with patients.
Scrubs in any color are required for dress code.
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
