Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Critical Access Hospital. The role requires 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience and NH or Compact RN license.

You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 36 hours per week and every-other-weekend scheduling. Housing options are available and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience.
• Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele skills checklist required.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement.
• No on-call requirements.
• Floating required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital preferred.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Requested RTO limited to 3-5 days.
• Housing in the area can be challenging; explore housing options prior to accepting.
