American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift (7P–7A) at a 225-bed hospital with Trauma Level 2 designation. The role requires 2+ years of RN experience, an active MI RN license, and BLS certification; PALS and AHA certifications are preferred.

The unit includes Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics with a 1:6 patient ratio. Floating to inpatient units, travel housing and licensure support are provided as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys/licensure required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsabilidades

• 225-bed specialty care hospital with a Trauma Level 2 designation
• 7th floor Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit with 24 beds
• Patient population includes all ages over 28 days with a focus on trauma and post-op Ortho/Neuro cases, plus a general pediatric unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift (NOC) schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to inpatient units required
• Uses Paragon EHR, transitioning to Cerner
• 1-2 supervisors oversee the unit
• Provide nursing care for trauma, post-op Ortho/Neuro, and general pediatric patients in a collaborative team environment
• Galaxy Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
