American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg role with telemetry background and NIH certification on a 13-week night shift assignment in Wisconsin. LICENSE: Active WI or compact RN license; BLS; NIH Stroke Scale; 2+ years Med/Surg exp; telemetry reading skills; EPIC EMR experience; travel nursing preferred; Nursys verification within 30 days.

Responsibilities include direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit, night shift 19:00–07:30, and potential floating within 40 miles.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Telemetry background with ability to read telemetry strips
• Prior travel nursing experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses EPIC EMR
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
• RTO requests discussed with unit leadership ~45 days before assignment end date

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Telemetry background required with ability to read telemetry strips
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
