Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in a travel assignment. The role requires an AR or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 1–2+ years in Med/Surg or Telemetry.

The nurse will cover a 40-bed unit with a 1:12 patient ratio and LPN support, using Meditech EHR, on 12-hour night shifts. Travelers must reside >60 miles from the facility and cannot have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint in the last 12 months or be employed elsewhere full-time during

Qualifications

• Active RN license for AR or a compact state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1-2+ years of Med/Surg or Med/Surg Tele experience required.
• Travel eligibility: reside more than 60 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry on a 40-bed hospital unit.
• Patient ratio 1:12 with LPN support.
• Uses Meditech EHR system.
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend shift requirement.
• Floating required.
• Navy scrub color required per dress code.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment.
