Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg assignment in Tennessee. A TN or compact license, telemetry experience, and night shift availability are required. The 34-bed unit operates 7p-7a with a patient load of 1:6 to 1:7.

Responsibilities include floating, Cerner EMR usage, and a 13-week assignment. Housing allowance, licensure reimbursements, travel benefits, and day-one benefits are provided. Must reside >50 miles from the facility; RTO rules apply.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start

Responsibilities

• 34-bed Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• Floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 13-week assignment
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and limited to less than 1 week, with days made up at end of contract
• Block scheduling available upon request and director approval
• No call requirements
• No 48-hour scheduling
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
