American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1+ years of recent experience and floating between two units.

The position requires an active MO or Compact RN license, BLS, and no large employment gaps. Expect travel, housing allowance, and comprehensive benefits as part of a travel nursing assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Medical/Surgical units covering two floors: ortho, surgical, and stroke on one floor, and cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice on another.
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of approximately 1:6 depending on acuity.
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM.
• Floating required between the two med surg units.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Royal blue scrubs required.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
