Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Ambulatory RN for a Family Medicine clinic in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate holds an active MA RN license, BLS, and has EPIC EMR experience, plus pediatric vaccination expertise. The role covers ages 0–99 and requires 8-hour shifts, five days weekly, with every-other major holiday scheduled.

Experience in acute care and walk-in triage, plus strong references, is essential. A driver’s license and willingness to travel are also required.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years ambulatory or primary care experience
• Acute care experience required
• Direct EPIC EMR experience
• Pediatric vaccination and vaccine administration experience
• Strong skills for walk‑in triage, referrals, paperwork, and discharges
• Flu vaccine during flu season
• Two recent references from Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory/Family Medicine clinic serving ages 0-99 (no OB)
• Diagnoses include diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and chronic diseases
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week, 0830-1700
• Work every other major holiday
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Scrubs of any color accepted
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• RTO must not exceed 5 days and must be submitted for consideration
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced local rate
• Travel experience is required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license (current or conditional) required, verified via NURSYS report showing all past and present licenses
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of ambulatory, outpatient, clinic, or primary care experience highly preferred
• Acute care experience required
• Direct experience with EPIC EMR required
• Experience with pediatric vaccinations and proficiency administering vaccines and medications required
• Strong clinical skills to independently handle walk‑in triage, VNA referrals, paperwork, and ED/hospital discharges
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• 2 recent references from a Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor in a matching specialty required
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics required
