Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role in Massachusetts. You will provide patient care across two campuses, documenting with Epic and maintaining a 1:5 ratio in a fast-paced ED.

The position requires MA RN licensure and 2 years of ED experience, with BLS/ACLS/PALS and strong triage skills. Shifts are nights (19:00–7:30), with cross-campus floating to Leominster and Clinton.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department across two campuses.

• Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12 hour shifts.
• Must be flexible to start up to 4 hours earlier or later based on needs.
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage.
• Floating between Leominster and Clinton campuses.

• Strong triage skills required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department across two campuses
• Well-rounded ED patients including a psych holding area within the ED
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Epic charting system
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-7:30)
• Must have flexibility to start up to 4 hours earlier or later than scheduled based on critical department needs
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Floating required between Leominster and Clinton campuses
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scheduling based on unit needs; no block schedules accommodated
• Must complete pass/fail telemetry and medication competency tests during orientation
• Must be able to work all 7 days due to union facility scheduling requirements
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
• Must reside within 200 miles for consideration if outside local radius
• Return staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
