American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment in Texas. The RN must hold an active TX or Compact license and be certified in BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or NCCEFM).

This 13-week contract requires at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience and adherence to licensing timelines. Night hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with travel allowances, housing support, and benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Active TX or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current BLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certifications.
• Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, or NCCEFM).
• Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery experience.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Provide skilled nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position.
• Professional reference requirements vary by state, with most states requiring one reference.
