Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Birth Center position in Illinois. The role requires an active IL RN license and current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications.

License must be verified within 30 days of start. The nurse will work in the Birth Center within the Women and Children's service line, on the night shift from 5 PM to 5 AM, with alternating weekends and holidays, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring.
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Birth Center unit as part of the Women and Children's service line.
• Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required.
• On-call required with possibility of cancellation.
• Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns.
• First time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Local candidates accepted at applicable rates per state guidelines.
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration.
