Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Virginia. Requires AWHONN fetal monitoring and NRP certification, with a minimum of 2 years L&D experience and VA or compact license.

The 13-week travel assignment runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM in the LDRP unit of a hospital. Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius; first-time travelers may be considered.

• Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN or NCCEFM).

Responsibilities

• Works in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

• Provide direct patient care to laboring, delivering and postpartum patients.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius; no local candidates.
• First-time travelers may be considered.

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, not expiring within 30 days of start)
• Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, or NCCEFM) required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Works in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide direct patient care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients within the LDRP unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
