Job summary

American Traveler is actively hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery role requiring active California licensure and Cerner EMR experience. The position includes a night shift 19:00–07:30 with 3x12-hour shifts weekly and on-call duties.

Local candidates may be considered; travel and licensure reimbursements are available, along with housing support. Ideal candidates will have L&D experience and a Prevention First certification, and reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Prevention First crisis prevention certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in work history.
• Must meet required L&D experience for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Manage night shift schedule from 19:00–07:30, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours).
• Maintain on-call responsibilities as required.
• Be open to traveling or local assignment depending on market policies.
• Ensure residence within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Limit requested time off (RTO) to less than 7 days.
• Disclose prior employment with the health system as required.

• Returning employees or travelers who previously worked for this health system must be disclosed prior to consideration
