Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA RN license, BLS, and Cerner EMR experience, with Prevention First certification and L&D specialty experience preferred.

The position includes a 3x12-hour night schedule (19:00-07:30), a 50-mile radius local eligibility, and requires open availability across weekdays as no self-scheduling is offered. Travel housing and licensure reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license is required.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history.
• Prevention First certification is required (30-minute on-demand training).
• Must meet required experience for L&D specialty.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30.
• 3x12-hour shifts weekly (36 expected weekly hours).
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not offered.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Provide direct patient care within the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Radius requirement of 50 miles for local candidate eligibility.
• RTO should be kept to less than 7 days.
• Returning permanent employees require additional approval prior to consideration.
