Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Labor & Deliver y/LDRP unit on Nantucket Island. Night shift 19:00–07:00, 36 or 48 hours per week, with shared housing provided.

Requires active MA RN license, postpartum experience, BLS/NRP, Epic charting, and license verification within 30 days. Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of MA General Hospital, Boston; flu vaccine required.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending)
• BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Postpartum experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Primary source verification of license within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration (NURSYS and BON required)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Responsibilities

• LDRP unit within a hospital serving an island community with a year-round population of 15,000+ and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors
• Night shift, 19:00-07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Care for laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum patients on a combined LDRP unit
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered local
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
