Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Vermont with LDRP and Epic EMR requirements. The role is in a hospital Birthing Center with a 12-hour day shift (36 hours/week) and floating to Med/Surg and ED as needed.

Active VT/Compact RN license and current BLS/NRP certifications are required along with 1+ year LDRP experience. Local candidates are welcome, and travel housing options are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (VT or Compact) required.
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required.
• Experience required in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Birthing Center of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 36 hours per week.
• Required to work a minimum of every other weekend or as adjusted to meet unit needs.
• Floating required to Med Surg and ED units.
• Must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year\'s Day.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care within the Birthing Center.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation in the area.
