Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nights LDRP on Nantucket, requiring an active MA RN license and postpartum experience. The role covers night hours 19:00–07:00 in a coastal island hospital.

You will work 36 or 48 hours per week, with Epic EMR charting, island population care and housing provided.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license is required with no conditional licenses.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Postpartum care experience is required.
• Epic charting experience is required.
• Primary source license verification via NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Work in the LDRP unit of an island community hospital
• Night shift, 19:00-07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Care for a year-round island population of 15,000+ with seasonal surges up to 100,000 visitors
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
