American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume teaching hospital in Massachusetts.

Active MA RN license and NRP/ CPR are required. The role involves night shifts, on-call duties, and caring for laboring and high-risk patients in a teaching hospital that handles about 4,300 deliveries per year. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required.
Current NRP and CPR certification required.
Minimum of 2 years labor & delivery experience preferred.
High-risk L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in the LDRP unit of a teaching hospital with residents and attendings in house.
Unit performs approximately 4,300 deliveries per year.
Provides care to laboring and high-risk patients.
Unit includes a 3-room OR for cesarean sections.
Night shift schedule of 1900-0730, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week).
Weekend rotation every other weekend, with Friday/Saturday nights on night shift.
On-call required once every 6 weeks in addition to regular schedule.
Provide nursing care to laboring, high-risk, and post-partum patients.
Work alongside residents and attending physicians in a teaching hospital environment.
