Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in Texas. Requires 2+ years L&D, active TX or compact RN license, and BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications. This travel assignment offers a 3x12 night shift, weekend rotations, and potential on-call duties. Housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided, with Navy blue scrubs required for all shifts.

Open to candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required.
• LDRP experience highly preferred.
• STABLE certification preferred but not required.
• Two professional references required.
• Flu shot required with no exemptions granted.

Responsibilities

• L&D unit in a hospital setting.
• 3x12 PM shift schedule, 7pm-7am.
• Weekend shifts required.
• On-call responsibilities possible.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify; local candidates not accepted.
