Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Level IV Labor & Delivery RN for night shift in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires advanced NRP certification, BLS and ACLS, and prior L&D experience.

This is a high-acuity environment with 15-bed L&D, 20-bed High Risk, and 8-bed OB Triage. You will cover 19:00–07:30, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation. The position may require floating to a nearby L&D unit.

Qualifications

• Active IN RN license (or compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Advanced NRP certification required.
• Fetal monitoring experience within past 2 years.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Night shift 19:00-07:30, 36 hours/week.
• Charge nurse duties in L&D and High Risk Unit.
• Baby nurse for deliveries.
• Adheres to AWHONN staffing guidelines with 1:1 in active labor and 2 patients in early/latent labor.
• Two orientation shifts provided.
• Strict attendance with no call-offs.
• Radius rule applies for local candidates at reduced rate.
• Must provide full SSN and DOB for consideration.

• Experience with fetal monitoring (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within past 2 years)
• Familiarity with magnesium and insulin drips
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Level IV Women & Infants Hospital setting
• 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8-bed OB Triage
• Night shift 19:00-07:30, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend and holiday rotation required
• Possibility to float to a nearby L&D unit if needed
• Charge nurse duties in both L&D and High Risk Unit, plus baby nurse for deliveries
• Adheres to AWHONN staffing guidelines with 1:1 ratio in active labor and 2 patients in early/latent labor
• Two orientation shifts provided
• Strict attendance expectations with no tolerance for call-offs
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Must provide full SS# and DOB for consideration
