Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift with circulator skills and TN or compact RN licensure.

Requires BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications, plus a minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery and prior travel nursing experience. Shifts are 12 hours (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, with weekends and unit-wide float requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact multistate RN license required.
• BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit.
• Patient-to-nurse ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2.
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Weekend shifts required; flexible to staffing needs.
• Float to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum units.
• Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems.
• Surgical scrubs provided.
• No time off between 9/19 and 10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
• Orientation dates: 10/26, 11/16, or 11/30.
• Local candidates accepted at lower pay within 75-mile radius.

• Weekend shifts required
• Unit staff create the schedule

• Surgical scrubs provided
• No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live event
