Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit in Texas. Requires TX or compact RN license and intermediate fetal monitoring certification. Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, 13-week assignment. Open to candidates with 2+ years L&D/perinatal experience in fast-paced settings.

Active RN license, BLS/ACLS, NRP, and Nursys verification within 30 days of start are mandatory; ties to travel assignments and local rate considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS/ACLS certifications from approved providers
• NRP certification from AAP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery/Perinatal in high-volume setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• 3-5 years Perinatal experience preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Nursys license verification within 30 days before start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery and perinatal setting
• Support Level IV Maternal Designation with multiple LDR suites and related facilities
• Participate in perinatal transport program
• Cover 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU as needed
• Support academic teaching for large private OB practices

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required
• 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites including low intervention rooms
• 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds
• High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500+ deliveries per month
• Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices
• 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
• Perinatal Transport Program in place
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Labor & Delivery and perinatal environment
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
