Job summary

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery for night shifts (7p-7a), 12x3 schedule totaling 36 hours per week, with an option for 48s. Length of assignment is 15 weeks. Epic EMR used.

First-time traveler considered. WA license and 2+ years of L&D experience required. Responsibilities include cervical exams, antepartum and labor care, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin, cesarean circulation, and newborn care, including APGAR and breastfeeding

Qualifications

• WA license required.
• 2 years RN experience with strong Labor & Delivery background.
• Experience performing cervical exams, antepartum workups, labor and delivery procedures.
• Ability to monitor fetal status and administer or assist with epidurals, Pitocin, IVs, etc.
• Comfort with PP and newborn care, Apgar scoring, breastfeeding knowledge.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 years experience
• Strong L&D experience
• Must be able to do cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin; must be able to circulate C-sections; baby catching/receiving (required); APGAR; breastfeeding knowledge
• Must be comfortable with/had some exposure to PP
• BLS
• NRP
• Fetal monitoring
• Scrub experience is a bonus

• Beds: 20 total; 12 L&D, 8 PP/AP (3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR); 6 bed level II NICU
• Scrubs: Teal scrubs are provided
