Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an ICU RN for a travel assignment in Miles City, MT. Requires MT or compact RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of ICU experience. Duties include ICU patient care, 12-hour night shifts, and possible cross-department floats with documentation in EPIC.

The role may involve on-call duties; travel staff must adhere to state nursing standards and hospital guidelines, with flexible time off requests (RTO). Includes standard travel benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active MT or compact RN license
• BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses EPIC charting system
• May require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• RTO is flexible
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
