Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a day shift assignment in Texas. Candidates must have 2+ years of ICU and travel nursing experience, and an active TX or compact RN license.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS, and ENPC or PALS, with TNCC preferred. The role involves 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, floating to PCU/ED hold, and is accompanied by competitive pay, travel and licensure reimbursements, and housing support.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with 2+ years of ICU and travel experience for a day shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either ENPC or PALS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Floating required to PCU, overflow, and ED hold, including taking a 4-patient assignment
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, which includes testing for marijuana
• A positive drug screen result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must be available to complete any required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer
