Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Wisconsin. Requires critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include night shifts 19:00–07:30, potential float to Neuro Burn ICU, and using Epic EMR. Local candidates may apply with pay adjusted by proximity to the facility.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required.
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• US Social Security Number and US home address required.

Responsibilities

• Critical Care ICU unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required.
• May float within skill set to Neuro ICU or Burn ICU units.
• May receive patient assignments in Med/Surg or IMC if needed.
• May be required to float onsite or to facilities within 40 miles as needed.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients with flexibility to support other critical care units as needed.
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date.
• COVID vaccination is not required.
• Radius rules apply and may affect pay rate for local candidates.
• Local candidates are welcome to apply, though pay rate may be adjusted based on proximity to the facility.
