Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a CCU night shift in Georgia, with a strong background in cardiac interventional care and at least one prior travel assignment.

Requirements include an active RN license GA or Compact, BLS, ACLS and NIHSS, a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, and a proven cardiac care track record. BSN is not required. Night shifts are 7p-7a, with 48 hours per week and every other weekend; housing and licensure support provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license GA or Compact.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• At least 1 travel assignment.
• Strong background in cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CCU (ICU) of an acute care hospital.
• Cardiac patient population including cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post code patients.
• Care for patients after interventional radiology procedures.
• Unit may receive Medicine/Surgical ICU patients when no ICU beds are available.
• Uses MEDITECH EMR.
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts.
• Every other weekend required.
• 48 hours per week guaranteed.
• Provide critical care nursing to cardiac and post-interventional patients.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for placement.
• Not eligible if previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
• 16 hours of orientation provided.
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks.
