Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills.

The role features a night shift on a 12-hour schedule (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) with a 36-hour work week, utilizing Epic EMR for patient care and documentation. Applicants must have NH or Compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications, plus recent trauma experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• 16-18 bed ICU? Wait: 18-bed ICU with surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients
• Night shift, 12-hour schedule (7:00 PM-7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• Cares for ventilated patients requiring advanced hemodynamic and ICP monitoring
• Manages pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Assists with line insertion and maintenance, including lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs (SICU/NCCU/PICU)
• Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted for this role
