Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position in Bend, Oregon. You will work in a Trauma Level II hospital with Epic proficiency, handling critical care tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks with night shifts (19:00-07:00), weekends as needed, and opportunities to float to nearby facilities. Local candidates are not accepted; travel and housing support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, including at least 1 year permanent ICU work.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Epic EMR experience is required; Trauma Level II experience needed.
• Proficient in ICU skills (IVs, arterial lines, central lines, vents) and cardiac drip titration.
• Experience with diverse cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory and renal conditions; dysrhythmia management and 12-lead EKG.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Trauma Level II ICU setting.
• Night shift 19:00–07:00, 4x12 hours, 13-week assignment.
• Weekend shifts as needed; no on-call responsibilities.
• Float to other ICUs, Stepdown, ED for border, and satellite locations (Redmond, Prineville, Madras).
• May serve as sitter when needed and manage complex cardiovascular and neuro conditions.

• Experience with a wide range of ICU skills including IV therapy, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and cardiac drip titration
• Experience managing complex cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and renal conditions
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and 12-lead EKG interpretation

Responsibilities

• ICU unit in a Trauma Level II hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend shifts required as needed, which may occur in a row
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float required to other ICUs, Stepdown, ED for boarder, and to satellite locations including Redmond, Prineville, and Madras
• May be used as a sitter when needed
• Provide direct patient care in a Medical, Neuro, Surgical, or Trauma ICU setting
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify; local candidates are not accepted
• Proof of address required for submission
• Maximum of 7 total days of requested time off allowed during the 13-week assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Pending license candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
