Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a Medical/Trauma ICU position in Fargo, ND. Requires Level 1 trauma ICU experience and ND or compact RN licensure. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. EPIC EMR experience is required and stroke care experience is essential.

The role includes 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, every other weekend/holiday, and assignments at a Level 1 trauma hospital. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in 5B ICU - Medical/Trauma unit (MICU) at a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Work 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation.
• Occasional weekends and holidays.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical/Trauma ICU position requiring Level 1 trauma ICU experience and ND or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active ND or compact state RN license
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience within a 200+ bed, Level 1 trauma hospital required
• Previous Medical/Trauma ICU experience within the past 2 years highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes and other neuro critically ill patients required
• Experience titrating vasopressor drips required, must be documented on resume or skills checklist

Responsibilities

• Work in the 5B ICU - Medical/Trauma unit (MICU) within an acute care setting at a Level 1 trauma hospital
• 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Provide critical care nursing to medically complex and trauma ICU patients, including neuro critically ill cases
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility will not be considered for this position
• Candidates living 60-80 miles from the facility are eligible at a reduced local travel rate
• Interviews are conducted directly by the unit manager prior to any offer
