Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Critical Care Step Down RN for a 12-week night shift assignment in a recent, newly equipped facility. The role requires 2+ years of CCSD experience and proficiency with the Epic EMR system.

This travel position offers comprehensive benefits, a generous housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and per diem support for a 12-week assignment outside a 65-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA or Compact/reciprocity required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required.
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start.
• 2+ years of Critical Care Step Down experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in Critical Care Step Down unit with 12 beds.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM).
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required.
• May be placed on call during low census periods.
• Floating to other units may be required.
• Utilizes Epic EMR system for documentation.
• Facility recently invested in a new 36-bed private patient room facility.

• 2+ years of Critical Care Step Down experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Critical Care Step Down unit with 12 beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• May be placed on call during low census periods
• Floating required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Hospital recently invested nearly $100 million in a new facility with 36 private patient rooms, 18 ED beds, operating rooms, and a Cath Lab
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility - local candidates not accepted
