American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift in Texas. You will provide critical care nursing in a Level IV Trauma ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio, handling complex cases such as respiratory failure and post-op patients.

Requirements include an active RN license (TX or compact), ACLS/BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing and critical care experience. Night shifts with every other weekend, travel housing, and reimbursements are offered.

Competenze

Mansioni

Care for ICU patients in a Level IV Trauma facility with 10 beds.
Maintain patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 in critical care.
Manage patients with diagnoses like respiratory failure, DKA, COPD exacerbation, post heart cath, CHF, and post-op.
Operate equipment including Baxter pumps and Tele Access Critical Care monitoring.
Experience with MedHost EHR preferred.
Night shift with every other weekend on a 6-week schedule.
No on-call requirements; may float if needed.
Provide expert critical care nursing services to complex patients.

Equipment used includes Baxter pumps and Tele Access Critical Care monitoring
MedHost EHR experience preferred
Night shift schedule with every other weekend required (6 shifts within a 6-week schedule)
No call requirements
May float if needed
Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients with complex medical needs
Positive attitude and self-motivated personality are a strong fit for this unit
Black scrubs required per facility dress code
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
