Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 21-bed unit in Clarksville, TN. TN or compact RN license required, with weekend availability and prior travel nursing experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are mandatory.

RNs will work 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am), 36 hours per week, with no block schedule and unit-created scheduling. Local candidates may receive a lower rate. Epic Go Live window restrictions apply; travel and on-call flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.

Responsibilities

• 21-bed ICU unit in a hospital setting.
• Patient ratios of 1-2.
• Patient population ages 18+ with ARDS/Pneumonia, Withdrawal, and Cardiogenic Shock.
• EMR system: Cerner.
• 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week.
• Weekend shifts required.
• Float to Stepdown/ER as needed.
• No block schedule offered; unit schedules the shifts.
• Navy scrubs required.
• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
• Orientation offered only on 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26.
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate.
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility.
