American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CCU/ICU night shift position in Washington. The role requires current BLS/ACLS certification and at least 3 years of critical care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care in CCU/ICU.
• Night shift schedule from 1845-0715.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Initiate patient education covering post-treatment care, diet, and medication management.
• Monitor hemodynamic and ICU equipment, including cardiac monitors and ventilators.
• Document patient care information accurately and timely.

• Night shift schedule from 1845-0715
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes and monitor for adverse reactions
• Initiate patient education plans covering post-treatment care, diet, medication management, and rehabilitation
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy, and IV protocols
• Monitor and interpret specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and oxygen pumps
• Monitor catheters, leads, and tubing for proper placement and function
• Respond to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols
• Document patient care information accurately and in a timely manner
