Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an ICU position in Washington requiring 1-2 years of Medical ICU experience and current ACLS/BLS certification. The role covers a 14-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every-other-weekend requirements. TNCC and Medical ICU experience are preferred.

Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided. Applicants must hold an active WA or compact RN license and current BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Medical ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medical/Surgical ICU with minimal cardiac patient population.
• 14-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios and a charge nurse free of patient assignments.
• Occasional use of IABP equipment.
• Uses Paragon EHR system.
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirements.
• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory illness, and some cardiac and trauma diagnoses.
• Team-oriented unit culture that holds each other accountable to best practices.
