Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN in the Greater Nashua area to provide skilled nursing visits for adults and geriatric patients. The role requires 2+ years of home health experience and an NH or compact RN license, with travel within the Nashua territory.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with potential weekend coverage, case load around six patients daily after orientation, and access to housing allowances, benefits, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of skilled home health nursing experience required.
• Experience with wound care, IV management, and ostomy care preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IVs, central lines, and ports preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Candidate must have own transportation.
• Pending license accepted with proof of application at time of offer.
• References required, with one pending reference accepted to begin consideration.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving the Greater Nashua, NH area.
• Adult and geriatric patient population with varying diagnoses and acuity levels.
• High volume of skilled wound care, IV management, ostomy care and education, and chronic disease management.
• Uses OASIS documentation system.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with self-scheduling flexibility.
• Occasional weekends required as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Expected caseload of 6 patients per day after first week.
• Travel within the Nashua territory required; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.
• Provide skilled home health nursing visits including wound care, IV management, ostomy care, and patient education.
• Three-day orientation provided with expectation of reaching full productivity of 6 patients daily after the first week.
• One week of pre-approved time off included, with additional requests considered case-by-case.
• First-time travelers with relevant homecare experience will be considered.
• Former employees of the health system are not eligible for this assignment, regardless of time since separation.
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate.
• Float to other units may be required based on need.
• Drug screening must be completed within 14 days of the start date.
