Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN - Home Health with OASIS and HCHB experience for a 13-week assignment serving geriatric patients in Washington state.

The ideal candidate holds an active WA or compact RN license, BLS, at least 1 year of home health, OASIS and HCHB EMR proficiency, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Travel-friendly and territory-flexible schedule offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent home health experience required.
• OASIS experience required for Start of Care (SOC).
• Proficiency in HCHB EMR required.
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Home health nursing for geriatric patients.
• Day shift, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
• Caseload average 5-7 patients per day.
• 30 points weekly productivity requirement.
• No on-call responsibilities (may be discussed).
• Territory coverage up to 60 miles from hub office.
• Travelers must remain flexible with territory.
• Provide skilled home health nursing care to geriatric patients.
• Timely documentation and communication with care team.
• Scrubs required; iPad for documentation; personal cell phone not required.
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate.
• Monday orientation and billable training modules.
• Hospice/Home Health checklist completion mandatory.
• First-time travelers not considered; local candidates accepted at travel rate.
• Travel pairs accepted with individual territories and transportation.
• Former permanent employees must be separated 6 months and HR approval to return as traveler.
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application.

• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing care to geriatric patients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• 30 points weekly productivity requirement
• No on-call responsibilities, though on-call rotation may be discussed during interview
• Territory coverage up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must remain flexible with assigned territory
• Provide skilled home health nursing care to geriatric patients
• Timely documentation and communication with the care team required
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
