Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a facility in Louisville, KY. Requires 2 years of endoscopy RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities include working in the Endoscopy unit, 7a-5:30p shifts (4x10), and a weekend/weekday call rotation over 10 weeks. Epic EMR is used to coordinate care and train staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy RN experience.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting.
• Shift hours 7a-530p, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
• Call requirement of 1 weekend plus 5 days within a 10-week period.
• Uses Epic EMR system.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff and mentor/preceptor.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient/family to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families throughout treatment and at discharge.
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives.
• Follow a Practice Governance framework and comply with regulatory standards.
