Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Dubuque, IA is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Long-Term Care for a contract position on day shift. You will deliver nursing care, manage chronic conditions, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team across the facility, enjoying a reliable travel assignment.

Candidates must have an ADN/BSN and Iowa RN license or a valid compact license, BLS, and LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in IA or a Compact/NLC state.
• BLS certification required.
• CGN or gerontology credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for health status changes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as ordered.
• Perform wound care and skin integrity assessment.
• Update care plans as conditions change.
• Document care in the EHR system.
• Educate residents and families on care plans and safety.
